Shogun AV-19 receives LOG signals from the camera and offers real-time LUT (Look-Up Table) preview to approximate what the final graded image will look like in Rec.709 — all while recording in high-quality ProRes, DNxHR, or ProRes RAW. Custom LUTs (.cube files) can be loaded from the CFexpress card or SSD and used in conjunction with the Shogun’s built-in monitoring tools for precise exposure control.

Camera control

Control is available for most Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras over USB-C, and all Z CAM E2 series models (cable required, purchased separately – ATOMCAB018).

Calibration you can trust

Shogun AV-19 supports professional calibration with Calibrite Display Pro HL and Plus HL probes via the Atomos Calibrator app, using the Atomos calibration cable (ATOMCAB018, sold separately). This ensures consistently accurate HDR and Rec.709 monitoring, so what you see on screen is exactly what you deliver.

Pro audio, fully integrated

Shogun AV-19 supports 24-bit/48 kHz PCM audio, accepts two balanced XLR inputs with 48V phantom power for external mics or line sources, and has gain controls, meters, and per-channel delay adjustment. Using intuitive, on-screen sliders you can adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed and ISO. A red edge display indicates when the camera is recording internally, whether triggered by the camera or from the Ninja TX. Control is available for most Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras over USB-C, and all Z CAM E2 series models (LANC cable required, purchased separately).

Touch to focus

Tap the Ninja TX touchscreen to have the camera automatically focus on your point of interest. Touch to focus takes advantage of camera focus modes such as focus tracking for effortless control and sharp images. Available with compatible cameras only.

Ninja TX GO camera monitor-recorder comes with connectivity built-in, including, camera-to-cloud with free ATOMOSphere membership, NDI 6 streaming and full integration into an NDI network,

Ninja TX GO is also the leader in Camera to Cloud (C2C) workflows – allowing you to upload your video files directly from your Atomos monitor-recorder to the cloud. Atomos supports direct progressive upload to ATOMOSphere (with a free 20GB starter storage plan), as well as Adobe Frame.io and Dropbox.

The wireless capabilities also provide ‘over the air’ (OTA) firmware updates, for a quick and convenient way to keep the OS current.

Comprehensive Color and Metadata

The Ninja TX GO supports the use of select Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon log formats. Upload custom 3D LUTs to the monitor and output HDR conversion to Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision formats.

HDMI Input/Output

HDMI input supports 6K video up to 30 fps, up to 4K60, and up to 1080p120. Loop-through passes the incoming HDMI signal from the camera to another device, for example, an external monitor, wireless transmitter, or live streaming encoder. Via the HDMI input, you can record raw metadata such as white balance, exposure index, shutter speed/angle, Iris F stop, ISO, gamma, and gamut.

Recording & Media Options

The Ninja TX GO now includes a CFexpress Type B slot and dual USB-C recording outputs supporting fast data transfer to external USB media. The optionality is designed for scalability and futureproofing. In addition to recording directly to storage, the USB-C ports can also be used custom 3D LUT uploads and audio devices.

Professional Monitoring Tools

The Ninja TX GO offers an expansive suite of easy to use, one-touch monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, zoom (2:1, 1:1), zebras, false color (including ARRI and EL Zone), frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, RGB parade, vectorscope, and flexible 3D/1D LUT support with profile and preset options (including .cube file uploads). It also provides anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring to correct the ratio for anamorphic lens setups.

Power Options

An L-series battery on the back of the Ninja TX GO supports NP-F L-series batteries. Alternatively, a battery eliminator can be used to provide DC power to the monitor, or a USB-C port supports 30W PD power delivery with the included cable.

Unique cable locking system

Atomos has developed a unique and rugged locking ecosystem to maintain a secure grip on connected HDMI and USB-C cables. Ninja TX GO comes with special brackets to facilitate this, and a USB-C locking cable. With Atomos locking cables you get the most robust cable system available today.

Tally light

Adding a tally light to Ninja TX GO is a simple but powerful update that is especially useful in live production setups. A tally light provides a clear visual indicator of when the camera is recording or broadcasting. When Ninja TX GO is recording, the light automatically turns red (live/on-air). If the tally light is green it indicates to the talent that the camera/monitor-recorder is on preview or standby.
